ABOUT THE ROLE 

This is a hands-on leadership role at the core of the finance function. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you'll run the Group's month-end and year-end close, manage the consolidation, and ensure capital spend is accounted for accurately and consistently. You'll lead a team of accountants, act as the escalation point for financial accounting issues, and streamline and scale processes.

DUTIES

• Run the month-end and year-end close for the Group, with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Review and sign off journals, accruals, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage the multi-currency consolidation, including eliminations and FX translation
• Oversee project accounting, capitalisation, WIP, depreciation and disposals across the capital program
• Deliver monthly results and balance sheet commentary to finance leadership
• Maintain financial controls and procedures, support the year-end audit, and contribute to ERP improvements as new entities come on board
