Responsibilities

JOB LOCATION: HYBRID ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Job Title: Finance Manager – Canadian Payroll & Accounting Standards
  • Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Required: Work from home daily for 2 hours within core hours (9 AM–5 PM) , need to flexible to match with India team co ordination which would be between 9am to 12 pm as and when require.
  • Weekly 4-hour at Azure Knowledge Corporation. 325 Front Street West 2nd Floor Toronto( fix day )
    About the Role:
    Role is to bridge between India Accounting team and local needs for bank, payroll, insurance and personal investment of promoters.
    Candidate will be reporting to Head in India and work with business head in Toronto.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily Accounting: Reconciliations of business and personal bank statements once a week, keep basic accounting records
  • Payroll Processing: Manage bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees in multiple provinces, and ensure statutory deductions like CPP, EI, and taxes are remitted to the CRA by the 15th of the month following the pay date.
  • MD’s Personal Accounting: Manage MD’s personal banking, expenses, reconciliation, and liaise with personal accountants or advisors.
  • Documentation and admin needs for various real estate investments in Toronto.
  • Incentive payout for respondent and reconciliation
  • Bank paper work compliances and follow up for monthly obligations with India team
  • Timely payout of office, business and personal payouts
  • Update and manage all auto payout and receivables in holding / investment companies
  • Prepare daily task / check list and keep updating
  • Co ordination for paper work with local CPA / Auditors for India and team and local compliance needs
  • Credit card reconciliation for key management team and refill and recharge
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws, payroll regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: Up to $2,000.00 per month
    Expected hours: 22 per week

  • Overtime pay

  • Monday to Friday
