  • Preferred experience as an Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager or in a similar finance-related role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financing products (loans, leases, insurance, etc.) and the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and automotive industry standards.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and financial software.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with customers to assess their financial needs and provide tailored financing solutions.
  • Partner with lenders to secure the best possible loan or lease terms for customers.
  • Ensure all paperwork, including credit reports and contracts, are accurate, complete, and comply with all regulations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient car-buying experience.
  • Review customer credit reports and financial information to determine appropriate financing options.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding financing.
  • Drive additional dealership profits through the sale of finance-related products such as credit insurance, extended warranties, vehicle protections, etc..
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction with the financing process.
