As Finance Manager for Black Star Pastry, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our stores and central kitchen. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and operational teams to ensure financial integrity, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making. You’ll also lead an Accounts Officer and play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and supporting our growth.
This is a hands-on, evolving role that suits someone with hospitality experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive mindset.

• Act as the primary financial contact for Black Star Pastry’s operational teams, building strong relationships with stores and kitchen managers.
• Lead the preparation of weekly sales reports, COGS analysis, and campaign performance reviews.
• Manage month-end reporting, including P&L analysis and variance commentary.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and intercompany transactions in collaboration with the Accounts Officer.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, inventory records, and operating equipment tracking.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Support compliance with tax obligations including Income Tax, FBT, payroll liabilities, and bank covenant reporting (in conjunction with the Payroll Manager).
• Assist the General Manager with ad hoc financial projects and executive reporting.
