To learn more about our product features, visit colossyan.com. About the role: We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and help us grow and strengthen our finance function. This is a pivotal hands-on role where you will not only manage day-to-day financial operations and compliance but also play a leading role in the strategic development of our financial operations, controls and reporting to support our rapid Series A growth. What you'll do Manage the day to day financial control framework, ensuring accurate and compliant financial record-keeping (US/local GAAP), whilst actively seeking opportunities to strengthen controls Oversee financial operations AP/AR, payment approval and cash flow management. Manage banking operations, payment flows and bank reconciliations. Communicating and collaborating with external accountants and payroll providers. Oversee contractor and employee payments across multiple locations Ensure compliance with Hungarian tax regulations, partnering with external advisers for timely and accurate tax filings Support the preparation of financial statements, management information and board/investor reporting. Support FP&A activities focused on key SaaS metrics, revenue streams and subscriptions. Drive process optimization, implementing scalable, automated solutions and strengthening internal controls Assisting in end-year closure and audit processes What we're looking for Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with proven experience in accounting or finance roles in Hungary. Experience in Software/SaaS is an advantage. Critical thinker who can use strong analytical skills to interpret financial data. Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulations. Knowledge of Hungarian tax laws and regulations. Experience with accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets. Ability to work independently, own projects and deliver high quality outputs.
