Finance Manager | Temp to Perm

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading and well-established real estate and funds management business based in Sydney CBD.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract with a genuine pathway to permanent, providing an opportunity to join a high-performing finance team during a key reporting period.

The Role

• Preparing statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures• Supporting half-year and year-end financial reporting and close processes• Managing relationships and queries with external auditors• Preparing and reviewing supporting workpapers and reconciliations• Supporting tax calculations and trust-related reporting• Identifying and addressing technical accounting matters• Working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider finance team• Ensuring reporting deadlines and requirements are met

About You

• 5+ years relevant accounting and financial reporting experience• Strong technical accounting knowledge across AASB/IFRS• CA/CPA qualification or working towards• Previous experience within real estate, property, funds management is highly desirable• Big 4 audit or advisory experience is desirable• Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes• Strong statutory reporting and financial statement preparation experience• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills• Immediate availability or 1 weeks' notice
