We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager, Costing to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in reengineering our cost accounting function, with a mandate to build scalable, best-in-class processes and reporting framework from the ground up as well as oversight of inventory control, while performing the day to day costing and inventory activities. This role plays a critical part in guiding operational decision-making and improving profitability through accurate cost tracking and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (accounting designation preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, GAAP and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., BC or similar), Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Cost Analysis and Reporting

• Develop and maintain accurate standard costs, identifying and analyzing cost drivers, and producing robust variance reports to guide business performance.
• Design Costing Management Structure & Reporting
• Prepare comprehensive Variance Analysis (materials, labor overhead)
• Analyze and report on cost drivers (milk yield, wastage, packaging, labor hours)
• Volume, Price, Mix Analysis
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost and inventory accounting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis related to costs.
• Provide cost analysis for pricing decisions, product line profitability, and margin improvement.
• Support Sales Analyst with development of a Pricing Calculator

Master Data

• Develop, implement and monitor cost standards for products and operations.
• Conduct BOM and routing reviews to align with actual production processes
• Create new BOMs and Routings

Inventory

• Maintain and update inventory valuation and reconcile periodic physical inventories.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse team to reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Track inventory movements and ensure accurate costing of WIP and finished Goods

Other

• Prepare audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
• Continuously improve cost accounting processes and systems.
• Lead or support special projects as assigned.
