Description
The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s intercompany financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all intercompany activities across multiple entities and regions. The role will also contribute to treasury management, compliance, and process improvement to support the company’s overall financial health and strategic growth. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Intercompany Accounting & Reporting Manage and oversee all intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements across entities. Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany charges, eliminations, and adjustments in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare intercompany reporting packages and support consolidated financial statements. Responsible for the complete booking and reconciliation of all transactions for selected entities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards. Treasury & Foreign Exchange Management Monitor cash flow across entities and ensure efficient intercompany funding arrangements. Oversee the appropriate movement of foreign exchange across entities and regions. Mitigate currency risk through effective treasury management strategies. Compliance & Audit Support Ensure intercompany transactions align with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reconciliations. General Financial Leadership Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reconciliations. Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and international accounting standards. Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/or equivalent preferred) Work Experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2+ years in intercompany accounting, treasury, or consolidation roles. Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and intercompany accounting principles Experience with international tax and compliance matters. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-border environment. Effective communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and sound judgment. Proficient in Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools; familiarity with QuickBooks, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
