About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance team, reporting directly to the GM Finance Corporate. This is a full-time position based at North Ryde, offering the flexibility of hybrid working.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality external and internal financial reporting for the Group. You'll lead a dedicated reporting team, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, manage critical audit and governance processes, and provide technical accounting expertise across the business. You'll also play a pivotal role in transformation initiatives, process improvement, and supporting strategic finance projects across the Group.

• Lead and deliver accurate, compliantyear-endfinancial reporting, including full financial statement preparation and review.
• Oversee monthly reporting, including month-end close, Group reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring data integrity across group ledgers.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate internal finance teams to meet all reporting deadlines.
• Provide technical accounting expertise, supporting executives and business units on complex transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and new business activities.
• Lead finance input into transformation initiatives, including budgeting, five-year planning, SteerCo reporting, and benefits/costs tracking.
• Drive process improvement and standardisation, leveraging technology to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, coach and develop finance team members, overseeing management reporting, treasury support, and compliance with WHSE responsibilities.

What you bring to the role:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) with proven experience in a Big 4 audit environment (desired)
• 10+ years of hands-on accounting experience at a large entity
• Demonstrated capability in preparing statutory financial statements
• Strong background in auditing medium to large entities, with a clear understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
• Exceptional technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards confidently
• Proficiency with SAP or major ERP systems, with the ability to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modelling
