MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with large datasets and coding languages, database, automation or business intelligence skills such as SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, Python, Tableu and Looker.
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Ability to stay organized, detail oriented, focused and multi-task in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to craft and deliver messages to influence executive leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage Google’s energy and renewable energy data portfolio ensuring tracking, analyzing and reporting on individual and portfolio-level project costs, generation, availability and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and support month-end close for energy costs and generation from renewable energy projects by utilizing developer forecasts, project schedules, historical data and other key inputs to inform budgeting and planning.
  • Collaborate with Google’s finance, accounting and internal teams to deliver critical renewable energy financial data and provide insightful analysis for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate with utilities, renewable energy suppliers and internal partners to ensure timely invoice processing and issue resolution.
  • Support contract management for renewable energy and utility service agreements.
