Job Title: Part-Time Finance Manager
Location: Decor Systems Offices, New Street, Doncaster, DN1 3QU
Hours: 15 - 22 hours per week, Flexible between 8am and 4:30pm
Reports to: Richard McCreadie, Finance Director
Where you fit: Decor Systems is a specialist provider of blinds and curtains to large residential and commercial projects across the UK. The company has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is looking for a part time finance manager to relieve the Finance Director of routine tasks.
Key Objective: Entering Sales and Purchase ledger transactions, issuing applications for payment, following up customers and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure financial data in our systems is accurate and reliable.
QUALIFICATIONS
· GCSE Maths grade or equivalent
· AAT / IAB Level 2 or simliar
EXPERIENCE
· 2 years min of financial / bookkeeping
· Working with accounts systems eg Sage/Xero
· Experience in Construction industry related business - beneficial but not essential
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
· Proficency in Microsoft Excel
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Analytical problem solving
· Sage 50 experience - beneficial but not essential
· Issuing applications for payment and invoices in accordance with customers requirements
· Following up and reconciling customer payments
· Reconciling bank accounts weekly
· Checking purchase invoices against purchase orders and entering on Sage
· Processing expense receipts and reimbursements to staff
· Checking statements, resolving missing invoices and payments on account
· Producing reports for the external accountant
· Working with the Operations team to analyse actual GP on projects and provide feedback for the pricing department.
