Devizes Town Council is seeking a Finance Manager to join a Town Council that has buckets of ambition and a strong foundation upon which to build. At Devizes Town Council we pride ourselves on working collaboratively as a team and with the community we serve to make Devizes an even better place to live, work and visit.
As Finance Manager you will be a member of the Corporate Management team and will work closely with Town Clerk/CEO, the Deputy Town Clerk, and Councillors in driving the Council forward. Day to day you will lead our finance function, ensuring that we exercise careful stewardship of the funding we receive whilst deploying our resources to meet our priorities and goals. Being a relatively small team, you will be involved in much more than finance and you will need to be someone who is willing to “muck in”, equally at home thinking strategically and rolling your sleeves up to “just get things done”. And along the way, you will no doubt have oodles of fun too!
