We’ve partnered with a growing engineering group seeking to strengthen their team with a Finance Manager. Reporting into a Financial Controller, this role will oversee the day-to-day finances, managing financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience in management accounting. QBE also considered.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage or similar software.
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially minded.
• CIS experience would be beneficial

• Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs, and financial reports.
• Statutory accounts preparation, and tax compliance
• Oversee nominal ledgers, reconciliations, and journal postings for accurate financial records.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.
• Monitor gross profit margins, investigating variances and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Business partnering with operational teams and presenting at quarterly board meetings.
• Improve financial controls, budgeting, and reporting systems.
• Annual preparation of business plans for the years ahead.
