The Finance Manager- EMEA is a key member of the finance team, with responsibility for providing strategic leadership to the finance function and beyond and playing a pivotal role in the ongoing sustainable success of the business. The Finance Manager – EMEA will lead the finance function to deliver on the company’s growth plans. In addition to bringing functional expertise, the individual in this role will play a collaborative role in driving business results and profitability. S/he will act as a true business partner, pushing the strategy and the value optimization/creation. Day-to-day, the role will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the business. S/he will have the ability to navigate a complex and dynamic business, and subsequently define and deliver processes, systems, and capabilities that continue to simplify and optimize the business. This individual must also possess strong communication skills, executive presence/gravitas, and possess the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a cadre of experienced senior executives. The Finance Manager is accountable for the overall team production including FP&A, Statutory and Tax. Finally, the role is leading the integration of TNM Finance into Wabtec and covering the TSA exit. The role will report to the CFO. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a financial position Proficient in US GAAP, IRFS Controllership experience in a multinational company Strong information systems/ERP system experience Interpersonal and supervisory skills, such as coaching, providing feedback, and evaluating performance of subordinates, and the ability to coach and motivate employees Deals well with ambiguity; can effectively cope with change; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
