This dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager role is perfect for someone with experience in overseeing end-to-end finance operations and business partnering across with different stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate thrives on managing the details while also contributing to strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead key financial processes and collaborate closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business on an ad-hoc basis.

EXPERIENCE :

  • CPA qualification or equivalent
  • Proficiency in ERP and payment processing systems such as Xero, Stripe (similar) Airwallex (similar) and ZIP (or similar).
  • Experience with AU payroll / compliance, exposure to US payroll will be a plus
  • SaaS industry experience and exposure to quote to cash are highly desirable
  • Experience managing remote team is a plus
  • Experience in start up environment

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (Procure to Pay), including reviewing the fortnightly payment run
  • Managing treasury operations across different banking platforms
  • Oversee Account Receivable including review weekly A/R reports (aging, draft invoices) prepared by the AR specialist and provide strategic guidance on collections. Assist with ad-hoc customer queries escalated by the AR specialist.
  • Manage weekly employee reimbursements in accordance with the company policy through Airwallex
  • Manage SaaS revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS15
  • Ownership of Month-End and Quarter-End processes P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Manage monthly cash close reporting and quarterly investor pack reporting
  • Oversee audit process and compliances (Annual tax return, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, and indirect tax reporting)
  • Oversee / support Senior Accountant on payroll related matters across AU and US
  • Business partnering / collaborate with stakeholders to oversee budget execution / cost management
  • Lead a dedicated outsource team of three direct reports.
