Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the long term financial planning processes for the property network, supporting the property and formats team
  • Identification and quantification of growth opportunities, network risks and underperforming assets.
  • Evaluation of organic network opportunities (new stores) and risks (retail closures / venue disposals) through business case development to approval, budgeting and impact on forecast results.
  • Establish a regular cadence and post implementation review framework for performance tracking and KPI’s for Formats, Network and Property investments.
  • Specifically, provide insights and analysis on opportunities to optimise return on property and formats investments, measuring returns on capital, and identifying opportunities to recycle or reprioritise capital.
  • Evaluation of lease commitments including assessment of lease extension decisions and ongoing occupancy cost planning & reporting.
  • Design and optomise financial accounting and reporting processes associated with facilities management processes including services provided by 3rd parties.
  • Provide overhead cost management support to the Director of Property & Director of Formats,
  • Lead two finance analysts to ensure they are high-performing business partners in the provision of decision support, reporting and analysis to the relevant business and brand finance teams
