ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Our Dynamic Finance Team at IPL Normanton!
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis) to become a vital part of our Finance Team at our Produce packing facility in Normanton. If you are passionate about Finance and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Responsible for day-to-day management of Group forecasting, planning and corporate reporting processes
• Business partner with the various finance teams to deliver robust plans and forecasts – provide guidance, review and interpret inputs and challenge back where necessary
• Create quality written monthly Board packs for presentation to the Board by the CFO – insightfully summarising plans, forecasts and actual results, and driving actions at Board level
• Communication of IPL forecasts to key stakeholders within IPL and Asda Finance, applying judgement to manage those communications carefully to ensure the appropriate actions are driven
• Business lead for Anaplan system develop and maintenance –project managing new developments, a finance model builder alongside expertise in the IT team, and coaching others to build Anaplan knowledge across the business
• Provide support to direct report who business partners central functional heads (Finance, IT, People, Legal) c.£20m annual spend – helping them to manage their costs and to deliver in line with plan/forecast
• Review and challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities to improve and simplify
