TalentWorld is hiring a Finance Manager – FP&A for a manufacturing client in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative team where your financial expertise will support cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across operations and leadership.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial models
  • Analyze cost performance (materials, labour, overhead) and present insights to senior management
  • Oversee standard costing processes in SAP for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Conduct variance analysis (PPV, usage, labour, absorption) and partner with operations to identify cost drivers
  • Support pricing strategies, margin analysis, and capital investment evaluations
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools
  • Drive process improvement and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements

Finance Manager Qualifications:

  • CPA designation required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong focus on cost accounting
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel modeling
  • Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented and proactive approach
