Description
Roles & Responsibilities Job Description: Assist with monthly financial closing activities and prepare clear summaries and forecasts for all entities. Develop accurate financial forecasts, analyze variances, identify risks, and propose corrective actions to improve performance. Ensure all reporting processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with system requirements. Manage the consolidation of monthly forecasts, providing detailed commentary on variances and resolving unusual discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare periodic management reports and presentations to support strategic and operational decision-making. Support the preparation of annual, mid-term, and long-term budgets. Provide administrative support to Management, including scheduling, managing appointments, and tracking follow-up actions. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned to support the goals and objectives of the Business Planning Department. Handle progressive billing, taxation matters, and lease management particularly those related to the construction industry. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Hands-on experience in progressive billing, taxation, and lease management (preferably in the construction sector). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear insights. Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. CA or ACCA qualification (or currently pursuing registration) is highly preferred.
