We are seeking a motivated Finance Manager to join our team at our Abbotsford location! We’re looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills, a strong track record in sales, and experience in finance and insurance. A background or understanding of dealership financing is required, while knowledge of the motorsports or marine industries is a bonus—but not essential. We’re happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and driven to succeed!
This is a full-time position from Tuesday to Saturday, and compensation is flexible and can be structured as commission-only or as a base salary plus commission, depending on experience and preference.
JOB SUMMARY
- Selling Finance & Insurance Products: Guide customers through finance and insurance options when purchasing our products, including extended warranties, loan protection plans, and other available products.
- Managing Lender Relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with lenders, negotiate financing terms, process loan applications, and ensure all transactions comply with lending policies.
- Handling Documentation & Contracts: Prepare and review all sales-related paperwork, including financing agreements and insurance contracts, coordinating with sales and administrative staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Delivering Outstanding Customer Service: Support customers post-purchase by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience with the dealership and its financial products.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all finance activities follow applicable laws, regulations, and internal dealership procedures.
SKILLS
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and are committed to maintaining and nurturing these relationships, ensuring our customers trust us and know their interests are our top priority.
- Understanding of dealership finance processes: Including credit verification, lease and loan structuring, and contract funding. Be proactive in maintaining knowledge of industry trends and financial offerings. You will need strong numerical skills with the ability to perform accurate financial and sales-related calculations.
- Strong communication skills. Effective communication means not only clearly conveying information but also actively listening to the customer’s wants and needs.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. This is to accurately manage contracts, loan applications, and dealership records while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate well in a team. This role requires to work alongside colleagues in different departments throughout the sales process. Everyone supports one another to achieve success, and there may be occasions where you need to take on multiple roles to get the job done. Asking for help when needed is an important part of this skill.
- Passion to learn and the ability retain new information. While we don’t expect you to learn everything immediately, we value your eagerness to learn all about our different products & models! The more confident you are in your knowledge, the easier it will be to create that trust with customers and drive sales.
- Tech-Savvy and Quick to Adapt. You should be comfortable using a computer, including navigating the internet, working with spreadsheets, and learning new software. We regularly use online inventory management tools and dealership CRM systems, both at the desk and on mobile devices
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous sales experience as a sales consultant or financial manager, with demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales targets. (Please provide a reference!)
- Previous dealership experience is preferred
- Completion of F&I Courses/Programs are considered an asset
- Knowledge of motorsports or marine products and services is an asset (Experience is a bonus!)
