Finance Manager
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our passionate team and oversee all financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your finance expertise to make a real difference while advancing your career in the not-for-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow
* Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management and the Board
* Ensure compliance with ACNC regulations and charity accounting standards
* Oversee annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors
* Manage grant acquittals and donor reporting requirements
* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
* Support fundraising activities with financial analysis and reporting
* Supervise finance administration staff and volunteers
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* CPA/CA qualification preferred
* 5+ years finance experience, ideally including not-for-profit exposure
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero/MYOB)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication skills for presenting to non-finance stakeholders
