Tasks

• Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the finance team at the German locations.
• Responsibility for financial accounting, controlling and standard costing including analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Preparation of meaningful financial analyses and recommendations for action to improve results, costs and efficiency.
• Advising management on investment, pricing and strategy decisions, as well as close collaboration with international finance teams.
• Ensuring compliance requirements, internal controls, and continuous optimization of processes and systems.

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance, accounting or controlling.
• Solid knowledge of controlling and accounting in a manufacturing company, as well as management experience.
• Proficient in standard costing, accounting according to German GAAP (HGB) and ideally US GAAP, as well as experience in the SOX environment.
• Proficient use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and BI tools.
• Analytical, structured and independent work style as well as very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
