At Baby Bunting, we believe in supporting and inspiring confident parenting. As Australia’s leading baby goods retailer, we’re looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to join our Finance team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role will involve leading a finance team, ensuring compliance with statutory audit, tax, and legal requirements, and working closely with external auditors and tax agents.

• Oversee month-end and year-end financial close process
• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of month-end Board Packs and Management Packs
• Review balance sheets and financial reports to ensure accuracy and reliability before distribution to the business
• Manage compliance reporting for Australia and New Zealand including FBT, GST, Income Tax, Times Payment Reporting and Bank Covenants Reporting
• Lead the external audit process
• Act as the primary contact for financial matters, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving meaningful change in collaboration with stakeholders
• Manage and resolve technical accounting challenges, including the interpretation and application of accounting standards, preparation of position papers, and coordination with auditors
• Collaborate on ad hoc initiatives by contributing to task execution and ensuring thorough project documentation
• Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals
