With strong expertise in cross-border e-commerce, iMile provides reliable, flexible, and technology-driven last-mile delivery solutions.Finance Manager – EU Region (m/f/d)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and strategy across the European Union (EU) region. This role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making in a multi-country environment.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the EU region
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions
  • 2. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with EU financial, tax, VAT, and transfer pricing regulations
  • Collaborate with local authorities and auditors to maintain transparency and compliance
  • 3. Accounting & ReportingOversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
  • 4. Treasury & Cash ManagementMonitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient regional liquidity
  • Optimize working capital and manage foreign exchange risks
  • 5. Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a team of finance professionals across multiple EU countries
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth
  • 6. Stakeholder ManagementPartner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Legal) to align financial goals with business objectives
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to senior management and key stakeholders
  • 7. Strategic InitiativesDrive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence and post-merger integration as required
  • Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is a plus)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
  • Proven experience managing financial operations across multiple EU countries
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, EU tax regulations, and financial compliance frameworks Technical Skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Language requirements: German and English: Business fluent (mandatory)
