Job title: Finance Manager (Fees & Costings)
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Location: Chesterfield, Head Office (Hybrid - Some travel required)

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Business Partner the Business Development team with costing new and existing schemes / fee packages
  • Document, standardise and automate costing processes across multiple legal entities
  • Utilise CareCubed software for pricing analysis and to evidence increase requirements
  • Identify legacy fee issues and opportunities
  • Business Partner the Credit Control function to support timely query resolution
  • Provide support, coaching and development to a small team, supporting with uplift process and reporting
  • Support annual uplift negotiations with funding authorities
  • Ensure standardisation of revenue and uplift recognition and reporting across Regions
  • Seek best revenue recognition & costings practice across Group to improve data integrity and to drive process standardisation
  • Identify increased care requirement, contingency or PBS input and ensure funding agreement is sought and reflected in agreed fees
  • Reconciliation of different revenue streams vs invoice value and cash received identifying issues and appropriate resolutions
  • Align costings to approved Business Cases, identify risks/opportunities and any variances that will impact profitability
  • Identify opportunities to improve P&L performance

Requirements for this role:

  • Accountancy qualification – studying towards or qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
  • Proven history of implementing and improving systems/processes
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to succinctly summarise financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for various stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally with both finance and non-finance.
