Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 27,000 – 30,000 per month

Reporting To: Finance Director

Overview

A leading international design studio with a strong presence in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join its Dubai office. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for overseeing financial management, operational performance, and business reporting across the regional business.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Reporting

• Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Produce accurate statistics, forecasts, and performance reporting for senior management.
• Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Ensure financial compliance with internal and external standards.
• Liaise closely with the London Finance Director on reporting and controls.

Payroll & Team Management

• Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and develop a team of four finance/operations professionals.
• Implement best practice systems and procedures across the team.

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operational functions of the Dubai office.
• Support business efficiency across departments including design, project delivery, and administration.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and operational costs.
• Contribute to process improvement and business optimisation initiatives.

Business Support & Strategy

• Provide commercial insight and data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Support senior management with financial and operational decision-making.
• Assist with regional and group-wide initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Finance & Operations Manager role.
• Strong background in management accounting and reporting.
• Experience managing payroll and leading small teams.
• Previous experience in a design, architecture, construction, or professional services environment is preferred.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with international stakeholders.
• Experience in the Middle East is advantageous but not essential.
