About the role The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the Accounts Payable function, ensuring all supplier transactions are accurately recorded, processed, reported, and paid in a timely manner. This role oversees the accounts payable control framework, ensuring compliance with Eastern Health policies, financial controls, and governance requirements.

A key focus of the position is driving continuous improvement across accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to reduce manual tasks and paper-based processes. The successful candidate will play an integral role in optimising supplier invoice management while maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

• About you To be successful in this role you will possess:Experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role with high volume output.
• Excellent customer service focus and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• The ability to manage and develop staff while fostering a positive team environment.
• The capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Oracle FMIS (R12).
