ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in financial management, with strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in using financial software (Xero experience desirable).
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible and willing to contribute to wider office duties as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective, efficient, and accurate management of LWPHomes’ finances. You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and provide financial reports to the Chief Executive Officer and external Finance Director.
This is a key role where you will not only manage financial processes but also contribute to the smooth running of the office, supporting colleagues when needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Manage payments to suppliers, staff expenses, and collection of resident direct debits.
  • Ensure all financial documents and transactions are correctly authorised.
  • Maintain financial systems to support timely month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial data, management accounts, and journals.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and external financial services.
  • Handle Xero entries, petty cash, and amenities funds.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the office team, including IT, bookings, and general administrative support when required.
