A great opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an international technology business that is part of a multi-$bn global group of companies that safeguard the world’s most vital resources.
This role will suit a Finance Manager (or Senior Accountant ready to step up) with proficient German & English languages, who enjoys P&L/balance sheet responsibility for a manufacturing site, business partnering, autonomy and the ability to drive improvements in a fast-evolving environment.

• Full ownership of the site’s balance sheet and P&L

• Lead team responsible for site accounting (both US GAAP and German statutory accounting), including the monthly close process, reconciliations, and stock counts, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and financial procedures

• Work closely with the EU AP/AR service center, based in the Netherlands, to achieve accurate financial results
• Develop and maintain strong control environment, ensuring compliance with SOX and company control requirements
• Champion and lead initiatives related to process standardization, simplification, and automation
• Integrate with global finance leadership team and peers at other manufacturing sites across the organization, working with a “one-team” mindset
• Support new ERP implementation and local statutory and internal audits
