Description

Administering and processing payroll in compliance with all relevant contractual and government regulations. Processing NHS Pension administration. Process a variety of payroll components, including (but not limited to) overtime, starters and leavers and statutory payments. Undertake general payroll and finance office duties.
Set up and maintain employee records in the payroll software. Administer and submit finance claims, process third-party invoices, act as the point of contact for all queries, and provide reporting. Liaise with colleagues within the organisation and establish and maintain excellent working relationships. Perform validation checks after payroll production, including month-to-month variance reports.
Obtain relevant authorisations for salary payment runs, ensuring accurate records are kept. Be responsible for processing staff expenses, handling claims, and dealing with related queries. Provide support and advice in response to payroll queries. Contribute to the development of the companys financial systems and procedures, as appropriate.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard. Undertake other relevant duties as required
