We’re partnering with a leading fresh produce company to find a talented Finance Manager to join their dynamic farming operations team. This is a unique opportunity for someone to take ownership of the profit and loss management of a busy, year-round farming business, all while working in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

• Strategic Financial Leadership: This is a high impact role where you’ll manage the entire P&L for the farm, including the annual budget and the 3-year business plan. You’ll be the go-to expert for financial performance, providing regular, insightful reports to senior leadership.

• Collaborative Culture: You’ll work alongside Senior Leadership at the farm and partner with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams at Head Office to align financial strategies with broader business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of the farm’s financial performance, managing the P&L, budget, and long-term business plan. Regularly provide analytical insights to track performance.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with Senior Leadership on the farm and the Procurement and Supply Chain Director at Head Office to ensure strategic alignment and seamless operations.
• Enhanced Variance Analysis: Drive a detailed analysis of key financial metrics, such as yield, wastage, labour, and other variable costs, ensuring tight control and informed decision-making.
• Internal Controls: Support the farm team in maintaining efficient and accurate internal controls, including overseeing databases, timesheet management, and forecasting processes.
• Capex Management: Oversee capital expenditure, ensuring ROI is carefully tracked and evaluated for ongoing project efficiency.
