Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:

• Education: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
• Technical Skills: Communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Netsuite accounting software is a nice-to-have, and we require strong experience in MS Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial management, reporting, and financial regulations.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re now looking for a Finance Manager to support our growth and be responsible for overseeing an organization’s financial health and managing all financial operations. The role involves leading a team of AR & AP specialists, providing guidance and support, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts receivable / payables team, ensuring optimal performance and professional development.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and improve efficiency.
• Ensure team members meet departmental targets and KPIs related to collections, cash flow, and aging reports.
• Process Improvement:
• Implement and refine processes for efficient collection, invoicing, and reporting.
• Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the finance processes and recommend and implement improvements.
• Accounts Receivable Management:
• Ensure accurate invoicing and billing to customers, and handle any disputes or discrepancies in billing.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with customers for payments, minimizing overdue balances and bad debts.
• Invoice Processing and Payments:
• Oversee the processing of all incoming invoices, ensuring they are accurately entered into the system, coded correctly, and approved in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure that payments to vendors are made on time and within the agreed-upon terms, maintaining positive relationships with external suppliers.
• Review and resolve any discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders, as well as vendor queries.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, cash flow analysis, and collection forecasts.
• Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections, AR aging, and disputes.
• Compliance & Controls:
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements in managing accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
