Behind every creative project is a strong business foundation, and we are now looking for a Finance Manager / Økonomiansvarlig who can take ownership of our finance function and act as an important sparring partner for management. About the Role As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management across MOOD Visuals, MOOD Publishing and MOOD Group. You will become a central part of the organization and work closely with our Finance Assistant, who handles a range of daily administrative and bookkeeping tasks. The role combines hands-on financial work with the opportunity to improve processes, create structure, and provide the financial overview needed to support the continued development of the company. You will work closely with management and play an important role in ensuring that the finance function supports both daily operations and long-term decision-making. We prefer this role to be based on-site at our studio in Copenhagen, as close collaboration with the team is important to us. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Daily bookkeeping and financial administration Accounts payable and accounts receivable management Payments and bank reconciliations VAT reporting and other statutory reporting Monthly and annual closing Budget follow-up and reporting to management Cash flow management and forecasting Collaboration with external auditors and payroll administration Optimization and development of finance processes Preparation of financial analyses and decision-making material Support for project finance and ongoing project follow-up About You We imagine that you: Have 5+ years of experience within finance, accounting and controlling Work in a structured way and have strong attention to detail Thrive with responsibility and naturally take ownership of your tasks Have experience with Danish accounting principles and VAT Experience with Swedish VAT and accounting principles, is considered a plus Are confident using finance systems and Excel Enjoy being part of a creative company with a high pace, short decision-making processes, and an informal culture Communicate comfortably in both Danish and English Understand AI and how it can be used in daily workflows, would be considered an advantage Experience from a project-based company, agency, or the creative industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
