We are looking for a Financial Manager (m/f/d) for our client in Jena. Description

Your tasks:

• Professional leadership of the three-person accounting team
• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and tax law.
• Correspondence with tax advisors, auditors and authorities
• Further development of processes and systems in accounting and finance
• Monthly analysis of target/actual cost variances as part of the monthly financial statement preparation
• Compilation and reporting of statistics (e.g., Intrastat, FX reporting) about the customer

What you should bring:

• Studies in Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Accounting or a comparable commercial apprenticeship
• Several years of professional experience in the finance and accounting field
• Extensive knowledge of German and international tax law according to HGB and IFRS
• Quick comprehension and solution-oriented hands-on mentality
• Strong analytical thinking skills and communication skills
