JOB SUMMARY: The main focus is that all aspects of Accounting, Taxation, Payables, Payroll and Compliance is adhered to plus backup support and other ad hoc projects. Direct Reports Accounts Payable Clerk Assistant Accountant Payroll and Finance Analyst ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned. Take direction from direct and dotted line managers. Lead and manage the payroll, Payable and Accounting team to achieve operational objectives. Support Month-End and Quarter-End Accounting activities in collaboration with the Senior Finance and Taxation Manager. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure all processes comply with relevant regulations. Monitor, review and enhance financial reporting, reconciliations and internal controls. Partner with internal departments to align financial processes with broader business goals. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to optimize performance and capability. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all financial, taxation, statistical tasks and reporting requirement assigned. Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to increase efficiency. Support external and internal audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and policy requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years previous experience in a similar position. Bachelor degree majoring in accounting. CA/CPA qualifications or studying towards Strong Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) and ERP systems experience KEY ATTRIBUTES: Analytically minded with a strong focus on numbers.
