About YouKey to your success in this role will be your ability to combine technical rigour with a practical, hands-on approach. You're happy to be in the detail, you spot opportunities to improve, and you're proactive in making them happen. Commercially minded and naturally curious, you enjoy finding the story behind the numbers and communicating it in a way non-finance leaders can act on.CA or CPA qualified (highly desirable), with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
5+ years' accounting experience, with people management experience desirable.
Experience managing full-cycle month-end and end-to-end financial reporting, ideally across multiple entities within an international group.
Strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, the Corporations Act and Australian tax requirements.
A track record of documenting and improving finance processes.
Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel and ERP experience. SAP experience is highly regarded.
Experience in wholesale, retail, consumer goods or furniture is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
