Responsibilities:
Individual will report to the Director of Finance and will supervise the daily functions of the finance department staff. The individual will assist in the preparation of the Company’s annual budget process. The individual will take part in the development and production of all monthly operational reporting. This position will be a key liaison with the region, corporate departments, the accounting staff and senior management.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the Company’s annual budget process
- Help lead the continued improvement and automation of the budget process
- Own the existing Cognos EP financial planning tool and provide extensive knowledge of key reporting systems
- Develop and produce all monthly financial reports
- Build key supporting reports for the regions and corporate departments
- Assist in the production and development of senior management reporting package
- Work closely with accounting to identify and solve issues during the monthly closing process
- Assist in the development of the monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Liaison with many areas of the Company to provide timely support and proactive feedback on all issues
- Provide solid leadership and development for the finance staff
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- 8-10 years experience of financial analysis and budgeting – accounting related experience is a plus
- 2-4 years of solid supervisory experience
- Healthcare experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
