KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Relevant professional certification / relevant experience (5 years +)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency using financial software, including payroll software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Experience using an ERP System
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in inventory and cost accounting
  • An understanding of production/manufacturing processes would be an advantage
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts file (including analytical review, fixed asset register, depreciation, prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliations, reconciliation of all control accounts and supporting documentation for all balance sheet accounts)and any other internal or external reports required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Investigation and reconciliation of inventory balances and General Ledger account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate financial information is maintained in our internal ERP system (e.g., ensure all customer pricing, promotional pricing, purchase orders, supplier invoices and queries, customer invoicing and queries, HR admin, transport and customs paperwork) are all kept up to date and accurate.
  • Manage all financial aspects of grants
  • Preparing the annual financial statements for auditors. Assist in liaising with the auditors during the annual audit including preparing audit files containing all supporting documentation.
  • Planning for annual budgets and forecasting cycles
  • Tax filing, preparing tax payments and all statutory Revenue returns
  • Complete all statutory CSO returns
  • Oversee payroll and time management systems.
  • Compile reporting for the Production Manager
