Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of accountants and finance executives in fulfilling daily functions of the Project Control team within Finance Department
  • Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects
  • Reconciliation of projects related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing
  • Variance analysis of project related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
  • Supervises and reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
  • Leads in quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects and oversee the preparation, monitoring and management of budgets and forecast
  • Business partners with commercial units on finance related matters for the ongoing and completed projects
  • Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal control
  • Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
  • Manages internal and external audit activities and risk management
  • Leads and mentors team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the engineering, construction, oil and gas or energy industry
  • Strong proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards, particularly on projecting accounting and SAP financial knowledge
  • Experience in Big 4 Auditing firm would be a strong advantage
  • Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
