JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Kendal, Penrith, Barrow with the facility to work from Parkhouse, Carlisle but this will be as a workbase not a contractual location.
Contract Type: Permanent

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

Finance Manager – Responsible Investment & Accounting

We are looking for someone to:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of the pension fund, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
  • Be the technical expert on responsible investment matters

The individual will have:

  • Good communications and written skills
  • Extensive practical knowledge and application of providing accounting services including budget preparation, monitoring and year end accounting practices and application of current accounting standards.
  • An ability to develop and nurture relationships
