For a leading multinational retailer: Finance Manager Responsibilities Oversee financial controlling and reporting for the Greek market, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Monitor financial performance and analyze key business drivers across the retail network. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and business planning. Monitor departmental expenses and P&L performance, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities. Support business units in understanding financial results, budget variances, and performance indicators. Translate financial data into clear insights to support operational and commercial improvements. Collaborate closely with the Country Director and the Country Management Team as a key finance business partner. Lead and coordinate the local finance-related structure, including accounting and finance support functions. Work closely with centralized finance teams and ensure alignment with international financial processes and reporting standards. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 5–8+ years of experience in finance, financial controlling, or related roles within a commercial or multinational environment. Experience in retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced international organization is considered an advantage. Previous experience managing or coordinating finance teams. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Strong analytical capabilities and structured problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights. Collaborative, hands-on professional with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
