Description

Reporting directly to our Financial Controller, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to encompass the planning, analysis and reporting of the monthly management accounts and supporting information for the Rhino group with a forward thinking and pro-active approach as well as ad hoc project work including data collection, analysis and reporting to senior business partners within the group.
The role also supervises the transactional functions within the department including sales and purchase ledgers as well as UK and EU payroll.

Responsibilities

DUTIES:

· Monthly production of the management accounts for three UK entities including full analysis and commentary and supervision of the preparation of the EU management accounts for the four EU entities prepared by the Assistant Management Accountant.
· Supervision of the UK and EU payroll processes completed by the Payroll Assistant including overview of the time and attendance system and private health care scheme.
· Complete bank reconciliations monthly for all companies within the group including holding companies as well as petty cash monthly reconciliations and custodial duties
· Supervision of group twice monthly supplier payment run processing completed by the Purchase Ledger Clerks and full production twice monthly of group cashflows.
· Assist with preparation of annual group forecasts
· Liaise with external accountants and assist with the annual financial audit process for the group
· Group ESG monthly monitoring and reporting
· Complete any other ad hoc SQL reporting and other tasks as reasonably required

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

· Proven experience of working in a Finance Management role for a minimum of 3 years – essential.
· CIMA qualified or equivalent – essential
· Experience of working with Sage Line 200 – desirable
· Experience with SQL and SQL reporting – desirable
· Experience with UK and EU Payroll processing laws – desirable
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Able to demonstrate a proactive work ethic and work independently
· Great communicator and the ability to work on your own initiative to meet strict deadlines but also work collaboratively with colleagues.
