YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification. Big Four experience will be highly regarded.
  • Retail experience required.
  • At least 6-8 years’ experience in accounting/analytical experience.
  • Advanced experience using financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamic, SAP, Excel etc.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in supporting all business divisions and trading arms, collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels to deliver outstanding commercial outcomes. In addition, you will mentor and inspire motivated finance professionals, empowering them to develop their careers and competencies.
As a hands-on position, this role promises to deliver a wide range of daily challenges and incentives, with opportunities for ongoing development, support and exciting employee benefits.

Reporting to the CFO, the role will require you to provide commercial value to the finance function and will focus on:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels to drive business outcomes
  • Prepare and present monthly P&L reports
  • Conduct month-end processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting
  • Gather, analyze, summarize, and interpret data in response to financial inquiries
  • Manage the General Ledgers
  • Prepare year-end financial statements
  • Generate weekly reports for management
  • Coordinate with external auditors
  • Provide support to the CFO on ad hoc tasks as required
  • Manage a team of over four direct reports.
