Interim Finance Manager opportunity with a highly successful organisation based in Glasgow for an initial 12-month period with likelihood of becoming permanent.

• Preparing annual budget and forecast updates for discussion with the Head of Finance
• Preparing annual accounts and audit liaison
• Producing timely monthly management accounts, financial dashboards, and management information, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecast and analysis of variations to budget
• Supporting budget holders with information to enable them to manage and monitor their budgets in accordance with policies and procedures
• Leading, managing and developing the Finance Team of 3 direct line reports, enabling them to carry out their duties effectively and deliver strategic support, initiatives and projects
• Supporting the Head of Finance in the development of the financial strategy, building and maintaining effective long-term financial models through detailed scenario planning and analysis
• Managing all aspects of cashflow including the operation and reconciliation of bank accounts and payment processes, identifying risks/opportunities and necessary actions
• Completing VAT and tax returns
• Overseeing credit control, accounts payable and payroll and pensions functions
