Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a detail orientated, solutions driven Finance Manager based out of our Nisku office.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, investment management, and treasury management practices.
  • Ability to conduct thorough risk management assessments and implement effective strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for financial report writing and interpretation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on profit & loss analysis, fiscal management, and account analysis.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide teams through complex financial projects while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • A solid understanding of technical accounting principles including accrual accounting and revenue management. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with all accounting standards.
  • Conduct risk analysis and manage compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Lead corporate accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
  • Manage treasury functions and cash flow analysis to optimize liquidity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders, interpreting data to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy in fiscal management through account reconciliation and balance sheet management.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
