Description
Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager As a key member of the Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and strategic planning of a Business Unit. Beyond financial reporting, you will act as a trusted finance partner to management, providing commercially sound insights, robust analysis and forward-looking recommendations to support business decisions and long-term growth.   You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance reviews, business cases and investment proposals, while strengthening financial discipline, governance and process excellence, and lead transformation initiatives across the Business Unit.   Key Responsibilities * Lead and guide a team of finance professionals to deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual management reports. * Review and interpret business performance and operating results against short-term and long-term budgets and targets, provide insights on business drivers, risks and opportunities, and make specific recommendations on growth opportunities, cost optimisation initiatives, and returns enhancement. * Partner Business Unit management in budget planning, forecasting and financial reviews to support strategic and operational decision-making. * Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and corporate financial guidelines. * Drive investment evaluation and capital allocation, including financial modelling, business valuation, feasibility studies, and due diligence for strategic investments, M&A, and new business opportunities. * Strengthen internal controls, governance and reporting processes, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and financial discipline. * Liaise with auditors and manage statutory, tax and regulatory requirements. * Collaborate with corporate teams (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Audit) where required. * Provide clear, concise and commercially relevant financial recommendations for value growth and creation for the business to senior stakeholders.   Requirements * Degree in Accountancy or Finance. * At least 8 years’ of relevant finance, accounting, management reporting, budgeting or business partnering experience. * Strong analytical ability with sharp commercial judgement and business acumen. * Proven experience in stakeholder management and finance business partnering. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, coach and develop a team. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders. * Prior experience in the logistics, supply chain, port, infrastructure or asset-intensive industries will be an added advantage. * Candidate should be mobile and willing to travel/relocate overseas for work.
