THIS IS A FULL-TIME, 24-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Supervision and management of on and offshore Accounting teams
  • Oversee day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end, quarter end and year end close processes
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the Corporate Head Office, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to provide updated financial outlooks, including mid-month for Corporate Functions and an operating business segment.
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting to each Functional Leader, including variance analysis, compare actuals vs. budget/forecast, explaining key drivers and trends, and actionable insights.
  • Act as Finance Business Partner with an operating business segment from a reporting and planning perspective.

ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who can navigate cross-functional demands, drive process improvements, and support strategic initiatives while maintaining robust financial governance. This role would suit someone who has been a business partner with Corporate Functions and has direct experience in month-close.

Ideally you will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce / economics / finance / accounting
  • Maintenance of a post-graduate accounting qualification
  • Min. 2yrs experience of Finance Business Partnering activities
  • Strong communication skills, relationship-building, ability to influence and judgement
  • A strong governance and process mindset to foster financial performance and maintain policies
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience in presenting complex and detailed data in clear, meaningful ways, in Excel, BI tools and PowerPoint
  • Experience in using Group Reporting systems, preferably TM1 (Planning Analytics)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and at all levels of the organisation

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Information & Reporting Manager, the Head Office – Finance Manager will lead financial management for corporate functions (IT, HR, Legal, Procurement, Treasury), focusing on reporting, planning, budgeting, and cost optimisation. The role partners with Functional Leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and also supports an operating business segment with analysis and insights. You’ll join a dynamic team with strong exposure to group functions and senior stakeholders.
