Sephra is a leading Catering Equipment, Ingredient and Confectionery brand distributing to customers both throughout the UK, USA and Internationally.
We supply both directly, via Amazon, online, and through an expanding network of authorised distributors to foodservice operators, retailers, and domestic customers from our distribution centres in Scotland and the USA.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

· Have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
· Qualified technical Accountant (for example, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
· Understanding of ERP system (ideally Netsuite).

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced accounts professional, working on a full-time basis. The role will be a mixture of transactional responsibilities and assisting the business in improving its financial controls and reporting. Working closely with our existing Account Administrator and USA Operations Manager.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Accounts Receivable
· Credit control
· Direct Debit processing
· New Credit Accounts
· Statements
· Account Reconciliations
· VAT Returns
· Preparation of management accounts.
· P&L Review
· Balance Sheet
· Cash Flow
· Accounts Payable
· Monthly Invoice factor reporting
· Monthly End Processes (UK & USA).
· Key customer/ channel commercial analysis.
· Trend analysis and financial strategy.
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Assisting Accounts Administrator: training and troubleshooting.
· Review of existing procedures to identify and implement improved policies and procedures.
These responsibilities apply to our UK and USA operations, though to differing extents.
