Description

Position Summary: To administer overall Finance and Accounts activities, including Accounts receivable, Payables and Audit procedures.

KEY SKILL COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and QBO (QuickBooks Online).
  • Very strong aptitude for learning new computer software and database principles; strong mathematical abilities.

KEY KNOWLEDGE COMPETENCIES:

  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards, along with local laws/regulations updates
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and theory
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Manage full spectrum of financial and accounting functions (AR, AP, GL and other balance sheet items)
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end & year-end close activities and analysis, consolidation and tax & statutory reporting and the financial information follows SFRS / IFRS
  • Prepare periodic management reports and analysis reports, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Business Operations team to ensure timely invoicing & recording of revenue transactions along with timely remittance.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on AR collection, including informing the Business Operations team.
  • Support internal/external financial audits, including reconciliation with supported documentation compilation of the Unaudited Financial Report in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Handle IRAS tax submission requirements and withholding tax.
  • Prepare and process payroll.
  • Manage local office cash flow and maintain inter-office overseas transactions.
  • Examine financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by management.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer in preparing financial statements as needed.
  • Monthly KPI to be maintained and monitored.
    Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Degree holder in Finance / Accounting and/or
    2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
