Description

Our hospitality group client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manger ( with managed accounts experience) in their office in the Glasgow city centre. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and account management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising financial performance, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives across managed accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, with a focus on managed accounts
  • Strong understanding of investment products, asset management, and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAGE)
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience working in a financial services and/or Hospitality Industry
  • Familiarity with performance attribution and portfolio accounting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
    Rate of £55,000-£60,000 + Company Car allowance dependent on experience and qualifications. Please only apply if you meet the criteria for the above.

Responsibilities
  • Managed Accounts Oversight
  • Supervise and maintain financial records for managed accounts
  • Monitor account performance and ensure alignment with client objectives
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers and investment teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Legal
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders
  • Support client-facing teams with financial data and analysis

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency
